Archer Advance Rubber Components is looking for 2nd shift Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our team! You will operate and monitor machines and ensure excellent quality control. Responsibilities:
- Operate machines and performing task pertaining to the manufacturing of rubber components
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
- Check parts for quality defects and use a caliper for measurements
- Communicate defects or problems to Lead or Supervisor
- Properly complete all shift paperwork
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or other related fields
- Familiarity with manufacturing tools and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
This employee will need to be able to:
- Be versatile in the use of calipers
- Set up machine as specified to production guide
- Deliver quality checks as specified on process log sheet
- Be prompt (attendance is monumental)
- Assertive (vocalize any questions, needs and wants for each day to day task)
- Take initiative
- Be a team player (stay on task and communicate effectively towards coworkers and supervisor)
Physical demands:
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Bend at waist and knees
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Adaptable to seasonal weather changes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
