Customer Care Specialist- Decatur, IL

This is a full time non-exempt position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively maintaining an ongoing relationship with customers and sales staff. Will have daily exposure to customers in a fast paced environment and will be responsible for managing all aspects of customer accounts. Representatives will have exposure to order entry / scheduling, accounts receivable, inventories and logistics management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in an extremely fast paced sales environment
- Establish & maintain top-notch relationships with all customers
- Interact with customers regarding orders, changes, concerns, & documentation needs
- Follow through on logistics for shipments from origin to destination (bulk & packaged)
- Enter and maintain sales and purchase contracts
- Process invoices and closely monitor all accounts receivable
- Research & bill truck detention charges to customers
- Research & obtain resolution of customer issues
- Effectively manage positive relationships with Account Managers, Plants, Supply Chain, Transportation & Technical Services
- Cross training on all CSR responsibilities
- Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
