Operations Supervisor - Copeland, KS
This is a full-time, salary exempt position.
Position Summary :
We are looking for a high potential individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities at our Country Store, KS grain processing facility. This position reports to the Superintendent.
Position Responsibilities :
- Assist the Superintendent with the day to day activities of the Elevator. This includes grain dryer operations, loading / unloading, sampling, grading, transferring, blending and storage of grain and grain by products.
- Assist in scheduling of operations for the hourly staff.
- Communicate operational procedures to hourly workforce.
- Implement and enforce company programs, policies and procedures.
- Ensure all colleagues are conducting operations safely and efficiently throughout each shift.
- Contribute to the development of goals / operational procedures for the department and plant.
- Perform daily facility walkthroughs and supervise hourly work staff on the daily progress.
- Perform daily / weekly / monthly inspections and document results on computer based programs.
- Train colleagues to become proficient at jobs and tasks at the facility, sign off on performance qualifications.
- Coordinate with Grain Superintendent to develop a safe and efficient daily work plan for hourly staff on a shift basis.
- Partner with Superintendent concerning the execution of work schedules
- Maintain documentation and identify cost saving ideas.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
