Maintenance Millwright - Ama, LA
This is a full-time, hourly position. This position is responsible for helping maintain the machinery and equipment through our PM schedule.  Candidate will be required to work some non-scheduled overtime when breakdowns occur. They will need to be able to work as a TEAM.

Job Responsibilities 

• Installation of machinery and equipment according to plans, drawings, and blueprints.
• Troubleshooting machinery and equipment
• Repair and lubricate machinery and equipment
• Move machinery and equipment using hoist, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Preform machinery and equipment inspections
• Maintain documentation of preformed inspections
• Preform system checks of Dust Systems to ensure systems are working as designed and within company regulations
• Investigate and repair fugitive dust issues found in the facility

Job Requirements

• Working knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and other mechanical equipment, including installation.
• General mechanical ability
• Active and participate in safety programs. Learn and follow written rules and procedures
• Preform millwright work.
• Regular, timely attendance is a must
• Respond to call-outs
• Stay late and work overtime when breakdowns occur
• The ability to climb stair, preform lifting, standing for long periods, work in confined spaces, work from heights, work over water, bend, kneel, and respirator qualified are all required
• Candidate must be able to work in a variety of environmental conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures, and dusty environments.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
