At Archer Daniels Midland, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Training Grd to join our team at our soybean processing and biodiesel production facility. This is a full-time hourly position with growth potential.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with PLCs, pumps, fabrication, PSM, motors, and electrical knowledge. The successful candidate will perform scheduled maintenance inspections and lubrication on plant equipment, document inspection and service activity as required, schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks, and repair and replace equipment as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance inspections and lubrication of plant equipment
- Document inspection and service activities accurately
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure minimal downtime
- Repair and replace equipment as necessary to maintain optimal performance
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and steam systems
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to safely and accurately perform metal cutting, welding, and fabrication
- High school education or equivalent required
- Prior experience or working knowledge of three-phase, 480-volt electrical systems preferred
- Candidate must exhibit regular and prompt attendance
- Ability to respond to emergency call-outs in a timely manner
