Tanker Truck Driver - Denver, CO

Job Summary – This is a full time truck driver position and will require at least 1 overnight per week. The typical schedule will be Monday through Friday with some weekends and holidays required in order to make timely deliveries. This location primarily hauls smooth bore tank trailers. Essential Job Functions - The truck driver must be able to plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic and construction, city and rural driving conditions) and manage unforeseen circumstances. The driver will sit for several hours at a time while operating their equipment. The driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading and transporting product. Weekly mileages can and do fluctuate. The individual is required to follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations. This includes but is not limited to FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, DOL & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Equipment can include but is not limited to semi truck, tank trailers, dry van, and pneumatic. Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading product according to company and customer instructions.

Preferred Candidate Requirements –
Candidates must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, background check and functionality testing.

- 24 years of age
- 1 year of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous seven years
- No more than 1 chargeable accidents within the last 3 years
- No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years
- 0.62 mileage pay/ 31.13 Hourly
