Job description
- Work under supervisor to oversee the production and guidance of crew members on job sites.
- Oversee landscape installation and maintenance jobs from start to finish.
- Review daily progress and anticipate the needs of the next day with the supervisor.
- Accurately record & submit time and materials for each job site daily.
- Ability to plan ahead when the supervisor is not immediately available.
- Ensure proper use and safe keeping of company resources and equipment.
- Instruct, evaluate, and train crew members to perform landscaping functions and adhere to company policies.
- Maintain a high level of quality, safety, efficiency, and customer service.
- Full-time, W-2 position.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 2 years experience preferred.
- Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of landscape installation & maintenance methods and techniques.
- Good understanding of the equipment, tools, and labor needed to accomplish various landscaping tasks.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and previous supervisory experience of multi-person crews.
- Must be able to read and interpret landscape plans, drawings, and specifications
- Self-motivated and a quick learner.
- Possess strong social, organizational and communication skills.
