Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of financial principles, including accrual accounting and balance sheet reconciliation.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Perform budget preparation and monitoring to ensure financial goals are met.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero and other financial software for data entry and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, preferably in a clerical capacity.
- Quickbook experience
- Proficient in budgeting, accrual accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software;
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
