Job Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with extended hours during tax season)
About Us:
We are a well-established CPA firm in Salem, seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to support our team. If you are a self-starter with a positive attitude, a knack for multi-tasking, and excellent communication skills, we want you to join our dynamic and growing firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a multi-line phone system and greet clients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and coordinate meetings for staff and clients.
- Operate office equipment efficiently and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
- Proficiently utilize Microsoft Office and Adobe software to create, edit, and manage documents.
- Maintain an organized alphabetical filing system and assist with document retrieval.
- Review documents for accuracy and consistency through proofreading.
- Perform various administrative duties and provide support to the team as needed.
- Ability to twist, bend, sit, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe software.

Tax Season Expectations: During tax season (February through April 15th), office hours are extended to Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Administrative Assistant will be expected to work approximately 50 hours per week during this period.
