POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Developer is responsible for the design and development to support internal optimization efforts, including artificial intelligence initiatives for Archer. Additionally, this position will work with the VP of Data and Integration, Archer Senior Leadership, Business Operations, and other pertinent parties to define and prioritize the development roadmap for these efforts
Position Location: Remote, TX
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and development of applications utilizing C#, SQL Server and Azure Cognitive Services
- Design and development of services supporting AI powered automation and optimization
- Provide support for existing and future applications and workflows
- Provide technical guidance to members of other development teams
- Identify and implement potential enhancements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Ensure code quality across all developed solutions
- Identify and implement business process improvements and best practices
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The Senior Developer will be able to develop a solution from concept to deployment as well as understand how technical decisions will impact the business users. This role is expected to collaborate closely with multiple teams inside and outside of the IT department and effectively influence on behalf of development and architecture.
- .NET development background of 5 years working with web applications and windows services.
- Cloud development background of 2 years. Azure is preferred but AWS and GCP will be considered
- Azure Cognitive services background of 2 years including vision, NLP, cognitive search etc.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git
- Experience with build and release pipelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders including development teams and management
- A desire for continuous process improvement, optimization, and automation.
- Ability to take loose or incompletely defined requirements and use knowledge and experience to create a finished product.
- Ability to give effective training and presentations to senior management and other groups.
- Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills.
