Electro-Mechanical & Controls Electrician should be able to utilize machinery Electrical diagrams to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment including packers, slicers, homogenizers, labelers, case erectors, and palletizers. Supports continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service. Responsible for owning various functions of the job and creating an engaged and team-oriented work environment to improve business results.
Key Responsibilities (but are not limited to) :
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic system repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Performs diagnostic and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment.
- Inspect and work with 110-480 volts.
- Install and mount high voltage AC / DC power for inverters and motors.
- Ability to wire and layout Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) power & control panels.
- Perform wiring of electrical components and cable assemblies (point to point).
- Upgrade production lines with new / upgraded equipment / technology
- Assesses problems with minimal guidance and supervision.
- Interprets and applies electrical drawings and schematics and can successfully troubleshoot circuits and controls by using them.
- Understand electrical wiring and know how to utilize functions of multi-meter to troubleshoot.
- Understands Lock Out Tag Out Procedures
- Experience with Packaging Equipment (scale, case sealer, band sealers, etc.)
- Perform and document preventative maintenance.
- Use all standard tools of trade.
- Practice and follows safety requirements.
- Completes documents as required by department guidelines
- Complies with all SOP's and GMP's
- Responsible for executing all duties assigned by Management.

oThe employee will perform the required job functions in a production environment loud, hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environments.
oThe employee is occasionally required to push, pull, stoop, crouch, bend, move and / or lift up to 50 pounds.
oSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus for computer use.
