We are seeking an experienced and passionate AWS Solutions Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key driver in optimizing cloud costs, maximizing value, and fostering a culture of cloud financial accountability across the organization. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment between cloud strategies and business objectives.

The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and has experience building robust applications with modern tools and practices.

This is a fully remote, full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Architecture Advice : Provide architectural guidance to development teams, ensuring cost-effective design and implementation of cloud solutions. This includes :
• Reviewing and optimizing existing cloud architectures.
• Recommending cost-efficient infrastructure and services.
• Promoting the use of cost-aware design patterns.
• Ensuring alignment with FinOps best practices.
• FinOps Leadership : Champion FinOps principles and best practices, driving adoption across the organization.
• Cloud Cost Optimization : Analyze cloud usage and spending patterns to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Cloud Financial Management : Develop and implement cloud financial management strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Collaboration : Work closely with stakeholders across different departments to align cloud cost management with business goals.
• Automation : Leverage automation tools and technologies to streamline FinOps processes and improve efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement : Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve FinOps practices.
• Mentorship : Guide and mentor junior team members on FinOps principles and best practices.
