We are looking to add a qualified Senior Installer to our team in Urbandale, Iowa.

Position Summary:

• Installation of Interior and Exterior signs of all types including:  Illuminated Channel Letter sets, monument signs, post mounted signs, applied vinyl graphics and digitally printed materials, ADA code signage, dimensional letters and concrete footing work.
• Secondary wiring of low-voltage LED lighting
• Review of technical and installation drawings
• Operating lift equipment (boom lifts, cranes, scissor lifts)
• Site surveys
• Understanding and compliance with construction job site protocols
• Participation in ongoing company safety training
• Participation in ongoing industry specific skills competency training
• Participation in ongoing heavy equipment operation and safety training
• Position may require overnight travel from time to time
• Construction and electrical work as needed

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement preferred (if not Archetype will sponsor certification)
• Clean driving record
• Must be comfortable with high work in excess of 65' above grade
• Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift over 75 lbs.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 safety certifications desirable
• Must be able to climb ladder while holding/lifting signs
• Ability to work independently and employ exceptional problem solving skills
• General knowledge of building construction methods and processes are helpful
• Ability to read construction drawings, site surveys and knowledge of architectual coding and notations
• Experience using a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to be courteous and professional when dealing with clients directly in the field
• Experience specific to the sign industry is highly desired but not a requirement for consideration.
