Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Aftercare Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of our students and fostering their love for learning. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic growth and personal development.
Duties
-After-school teachers are responsible for the education and care of children in an after-care program.
- Provide instruction in various subjects
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters positive relationships among students
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop projects and activities
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning environment
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childcare and childhood development principles
- Experience working with students with special education needs
- Ability to develop engaging curriculum materials that align with educational standards
- Excellent classroom management skills to create an organized and disciplined learning environment
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred but not required
