The Role :
As a Junior Designer / Designer at RYA, you'll contribute to all aspects of projects from conception through owner move in. Junior designers are assigned tasks in the context of big picture project goals and are expected to increase their responsibility, ownership and autonomy over time. Prerequisites for the position include :

Qualifications :
Ideal candidates should have :
2-4 years of post-graduate professional experience , preferably with recent involvement in small to medium-sized firms specializing in private residential projects.
Professional degree in Architecture from a US-accredited school.
Proficiency with Revit & AutoCAD, Rhino or SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Suite and Google Workspace . Asana, Smartsheets and Monograph are a plus.
Applicants must currently reside in the New York City metro area and have US work visa and fluent English.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
