POSITION OVERVIEWSean O’Connor Lighting is seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Studio Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the studio, supporting studio leadership, and performing various administrative duties.The ideal candidate should have knowledge of a professional architectural, lighting design, or interior design services firm. The candidate should be self-motivated, extremely organized and have strong communication skills. The candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced and collaborative office environment and understand they play a key role in maintaining a positive and engaging work culture while ensuring smooth operation flow.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide front desk support, greeting visitors, managing phone / email inquiries.Manage incoming / outgoing mail, ensuring prompt processing and delivery.Maintain Principal’s calendar, schedule appointments, meetings, and travel.Assist studio leadership with calendar management, travel coordination, and logistics as needed.Support Finance & Operations teams with administrative tasks.Coordinate with Reps to arrange visits, Lunch & Learns, and Happy Hours.Maintain office calendars and manage logistics for studio events.Track studio and kitchen inventories and order supplies as needed.Ensure studio and kitchen areas are clean, organized and stocked.Schedule and manage service providers for repairs, maintenance, and installations.Oversee computer and equipment maintenance, coordinating with IT to resolve issues.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related fieldStrong communication and customer service skillsOrganizational SkillsInventory ManagementTeam-OrientedTech-SavvyDetail-OrientedAbility to MultitaskProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteFIRMFounded in 1997, Sean O’Connor Lighting is a premier architectural lighting design firm known for its commitment to creating environments that are a synthesis of light and space.Led by Sean O’Connor, IALD, MIES, our multidisciplinary team spans expertise in architecture, interior design, lighting, and product development.
