Qualifications
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. Candidates for the GS-14 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes having experience in the following: (experience must be reflected in resume) (1) Applying knowledge of the laws, regulations, policies, procedures, theories, concepts and principles of criminal, civil and administrative investigations; (2) Taking and recording sworn affidavits and testimony to preserve oral evidence for court proceedings, or for use in management disciplinary hearings; (3) Using advanced analytical tools and techniques, evaluates raw intelligence to make links and connections between and among participants involved in crime or major misconduct; and (4) Developing and executing complex investigations and operations which encompass difficult and diverse functions or issues that affect critical aspects of major agency-wide programs. Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.

- 1808(d)(2), is selected, appointed and employed by the Inspector General and reports directly to the Assistant Inspector General for Investigations (AIGI). Top Secret clearance and a valid driver’s license is required.
