Summary
This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Capitol Building, Assistant Superintendent, Client Services Division, Labor Branch. As a Materials Handler Assistant Supervisor (Custodial), you will assign, direct, and review the work of subordinates, as well as evaluate their performance. You will plan, schedule. and coordinate work operations, solving problems related to work performed by the unit. You will perform non-supervisory tasks in support of the mission.

You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position: Ability to lead a team and/or supervise employees in the performance of Material Handling (Custodial) work including: Inspecting work of custodial employees to ensure that quality standards are met; Training others in policies and procedures related to custodial and material handling work; and Analyzing current shop policies and identifies areas of improvement.
