This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Office of the Chief of Operations (ChOps), Superintendent, House Office Buildings (HOB), Assistant Superintendent, Facilities Management Division, Business Operations Branch. The selectee will serve as the Operations Manager for HOB and oversee administrative and support functions and will serve as a liaison with various divisions.

You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. Specialized experience for this position includes: (1) Providing leadership and/or administrative and technical supervision of staff, including managing workload, training and development, performance management, resource management and space requirements; (2) Planning, coordinating and directing the development and execution of strategic initiatives, standards, policies, procedures and systems to meet current and future operational objectives; (3) Performing complex analysis of facilities management and support services programs and operations and making recommendations to improve organizational performance; (4) Developing and implementing process improvements and cross-functional initiatives in support of organizational programs, operations and strategic goals; and (5) Developing innovative solutions to resolve complex problems and directing corrective action. Must meet a minimum of 3 of the 5 specialized experience examples.
