What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Construction Estimator/Purchasing Manager position at Architect?
What You'll Do:
- Takeoffs: Create precise takeoffs for every house plan, elevation, and option and update as needed.
- Tailor to the Site: Develop specific takeoffs for things like sod, paving, and landscaping.
- Keep It Together: Create and update contracts, material lists, and ensure options are up-to-date.
- Spot the Differences: Run reports to support accounting, review invoices and monitor job cost variances to keep projects on track.
- Hit the Field: Visit jobsites to confirm takeoff accuracy and collaborate with subcontractors. Identify problems from the field and adjust accordingly.
- Vendor Relations Pro: Build strong relationships with vendors and manage bidding model plans and communities.
- Problem-solver: Price and manage unique customer requests, working hand-in hand with the design center on new product rollouts.
- Team Player: Assist the VP/Construction and Plan Designer as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $59,453.55 - $71,599.98 per year
