Estimating Manager

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimating Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to lead a team in delivering accurate and timely estimates for various construction projects. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and a deep understanding of construction contracts, as well as proficiency in industry-standard estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating team in preparing comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Implement cost control measures throughout the estimating process to ensure project profitability.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and labor costs to enhance estimating accuracy.
• Utilize software tools for efficient estimate preparation and management.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information necessary for accurate estimating.

Pay: $75,596.00 - $82,640.00 per year
