The Opportunity
Architectural Mailboxes is known as the industry leader in the single unit, curbside mailbox manufacturing. Located in Taylorsville, Mississippi, we have a dedicated team with an average tenure of 15 years of service making this a very knowledgeable and successful organization to be a part of. We are now hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. Maintenance experience in a manufacturing is required.

What you'll do
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment and distribution systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Use hand tools, power tools and electronic diagnostic instruments to repair machines and equipment
- Use windows-based computers and software for troubleshooting and programming PLC's.
- Diagnose root cause of electrical, mechanical or hydraulic malfunctions.
- Support and follow all safety procedure and rules including wearing PPE.
- Capable of reading and working with manuals, drawings, verbal instructions and/or sketches.
- Skilled in reading blueprints and electrical/electronic circuit drawings.
Maintenance Technician pay and benefits
- $19 - $28 per hour, based on experience and certification

Maintenance Technician Requirements
- 5 years of maintenance experience required
- Technical degree or electrician experience preferred
- PLC programming experience preferred
- Sufficient verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to follow direction and work on feet for up to 10 hours per shift
- Must be able and willing to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
- All employees must undergo a background check and drug screen if offered a position
