Job Description/Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production processes, mechanical knowledge, and experience in managing teams within a manufacturing facility. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production workflows, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities to ensure timely completion of manufacturing goals.

• Supervise and lead a team of production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

• Oversee the assembly line processes, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Coordinate with various departments to optimize workflow and resolve any production issues.

• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively in the fabrication and assembly of products.

• Implement best practices for warehouse management, including inventory control and material handling.

• Train new employees on production techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.

• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance regularly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

• Familiarity with forklift operation and assembly line processes is highly desirable.

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of production management.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
