POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to organize, rotate and stock all customer displays and signage according to company practices. The Merchandiser will work with their sales counterparts and management by communicating issues as appropriate, following their itinerary and being flexible with schedule changes to the itinerary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- This job requires travel within your territory, as you will be driving to your scheduled customer locations on a daily basis.
- Must be flexible to the needs of our business, as we continually strive to meet and exceed the needs of our customers.
- Responsible for organizing, stocking and rotating displays to their optimal presentation.
- Complete and update display reports.
- Responsible for onsite distribution and set-up of marketing towers.
- Will maintain sample storage area.
- Monitor weekly inventory of all marketing products.
- Responsible for shipping/receiving all customer sample requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong, positive communicator and team player.
- Accepts challenges and change as a means for improvement.
- Detail and deadline oriented.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient use of a personal computer/laptop and mobile devices such as iPhones, tablets, iPads, etc., to complete reports.
- Familiarity with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, email, text messaging, etc.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Associates degree preferred.
- 2 years experience in merchandising or retail.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Capable of driving a large van.
- Able to travel overnight.
- Must have clean driving record.
