We are currently seeking a highly motivated salesperson, with commercial sales experience, to join our team of dedicated and talented sales consultants. The Commercial Sales Consultant will be responsible for developing, managing and increasing commercial sales by working directly with dealers, builders, developers, general contractors, and the architectural and design community.

Essential Functions

  • Generate high-volume, profitable sales to achieve individual sales goals
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships that will ultimately result in the specification, purchase, and use of AVI products in the commercial sector
  • Identify various commercial sales opportunities throughout the territory
  • Drive the acquisition of new business through networking, face-to-face meetings, and referrals
  • Build the company brand within the trade industry, educating on product offerings and value added services
  • Educate and assist with specification and installation details as required
  • Partner with colleagues and outside parties to coordinate all details needed for successful project management (specifications, training, technical)
  • Emphasize new product promotion and marketing initiatives
  • Act as the product field expert
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate commercial sales initiatives

Qualifications

  • Previous commercial sales experience (building materials or fenestration industries highly preferred)
  • Experience selling quality product solutions
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work with/learn required technology and software applications (Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, CRM software)
  • Valid Driver's License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
