Job Description:

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. You will operate company vehicles, follow delivery routes, and provide excellent customer service while delivering products. You will be responsible for loading and unloading the company truck as well as delivering product(s) to job sites.

Key responsibilities may include:

Warehouse Operations:

• Picking and packing customer orders according to order specifications.
• Verifying product accuracy and quality before loading.
• Loading and unloading pallets or boxes onto delivery trucks using a forklift or manually.

Delivery Operations:

• Driving a company vehicle to designated delivery locations according to a set schedule.
• Navigating efficient routes to minimize delivery times.
• Safely unloading packages at customer addresses.
• Obtaining customer signatures and verifying delivery details.
• Reporting any delivery issues or discrepancies to the warehouse manager.
• Follow traffic laws and safety requirements.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Performing pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any mechanical issues.
• Adhering to all company and DOT regulations regarding vehicle operation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record**
• Ability to operate a forklift (if required)
• Strong navigation skills and knowledge of local roads
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy packages to 50 lbs. or more.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Exceptional time management skills.

**APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE A DMV PRINTOUT OF THEIR DRIVING RECORD. A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD FOR THE PAST FIVE YEARS IS REQUIRED.

Note: This position requires a flexible schedule. Shifts can start as early as 1am-2am to ensure arrival at the job site by 5am. Many days may involve working 11 hours, with overtime compensation provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
