Job Summary:
This role supports a team in creating and refining technical documentation for the E-130J, ensuring it meets S1000D standards. You'll provide subject matter expertise to help develop training for Operators and Maintainers. Strong communication, collaboration, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential, with a preference for candidates with hands-on aviation maintenance and teaching experience.

Responsibilities:

• Create, review, and edit clear technical documents for training and technical use.
• Develop and review documentation supporting NATOPS, NATIP, IETM, and aircraft test procedures.
• Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
• Manage complex tasks from initiation to completion.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Travel for training, maintenance, testing, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, training, and technical teams to develop documentation and training materials.
• Contribute to team efforts to meet project goals on time.
• O-level troubleshooting experience on military aircraft systems.
• Familiarity with flightline support equipment.
• Formal training in aircraft systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft systems for the specific type of aircraft.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain Secret security clearance and to maintain clearance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience using Technical Orders, Manuals, and related documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Microsoft Teams.
