Job Description
After Company certification, operates yard equipment including forklifts, tandem trucks, and other heavy haul equipment to move materials.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties : (Approximate % of Time Spent)
Safely operates facility equipment similar to and including: forklifts, man-lift, winch truck, and semi-truck with lift capacity in excess of 50,000 lbs. (~30%)
Safely loads and unloads freight and moves materials to and from the shop and yard using proper equipment and procedures. (~30%)
Visually inspects equipment for completion and/or damage and reports issues to manager. (~10%)
Performs daily check on equipment and may perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. (~10%)
Organizes and cleans yard or other areas as required. (~10%)
Assists with equipment preparation prior to shipping. (~10%)
Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
