Overview : Performs basic I&E duties under supervision. Provides assistance in installation of pneumatic tubing and electronic installation on equipment in the production area.
Essential Duties :
- Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment.
- Perform Minor Electrical repairs and installs alone or as part of a team. Completes and submits required documentation in an accurate and timely fashion. Utilize on the job training of all shop mechanic personnel.
- Perform basic installation of pneumatic tubing and basic layout of tubing on skids.
- Read General Adjustment and P&ID drawings.
- Assist with fabrication of bracket braces and instrument racks.
- Assist in required testing of tubing.
- Assist in running conduit of varying sizes.
- Make final electrical connections after installation of conduit and tubing.
- Report problems arising during the test cycle on units.
- Assist in testing of control panels and make connections which ensure the function of the panel yields accurate results.
- Assist in certifying units, final inspections, and test documents.
- Assist with mechanical assembly.
- Bend, fabricate, and install rigid / aluminum EMT, plasti-bond conduit, tubing, and stainless steel 1 / 4" - 1" diameter.
Non-Essential Duties : Performs other duties as assigned.
