Position: Maintenance Technician
Reports to: Community Manager
Compensation: $25 /hour (Based on Experience) Bonus Incentives
Location: Quad Cities

- A hands-on problem solver with general maintenance knowledge

- Skilled in basic electrical and mechanical repairs
- Adaptable to changes and willing to take on new challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and maintaining the functionality of buildings, equipment, and appliances, and replacing or repairing as necessary
- Diagnosing and fixing minor problems (e.g., light fixtures, clogged toilets, leaks, etc.)
- Ensuring safety by identifying hazards and implementing solutions
- Creating and enforcing maintenance policies to guide property staff
- Building relationships with contractors, vendors, and site workers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective repairs
- Ensuring electrical systems are compliant with safety standards
- Communicating regularly with consultants and property managers regarding operations and renovations
- Preparing vacated units for new residents
- Managing and scheduling maintenance requests and training new maintenance staff
What We’re Looking For:
- 18 years or older
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical tasks safely
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility for emergency on-call duty on a rotating schedule
- Proactive attitude and a focus on creating positive experiences for others
- High school diploma or equivalent
