Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect among children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and orderly classroom.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's individual needs and encourage their involvement in the learning process.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space that adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Experience with behavior management techniques and promoting child welfare.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour
