A progressive academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to provide health care services to its pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient populations at its outpatient practice in Andes, NY.Located just 3 hours from NYC, Andes NY is nestled in the heart of the Western Catskill Mountains, and offers year-round outdoor fun for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The surrounding areas have an abundance of lakes, streams and mountains that form the Catskill Mountain Range and the Adirondack State Park. Job Description & Responsibilities : -Andes Health Center is a (NYS) Patient-Centered Medical Home recognized through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication, and patient involvement-Join an established group 1 MD and 1 Advanced Practice Clinician-Traditional Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM-Opportunity for 4 / 10 hour shifts, 7 AM - 5 PM-No OB-A first call system is in place with a nurse practitioner / physician assistant on call for your patients.-Full-spectrum case mix and diverse patient population-Collaborative Working Environment-Loan Repayment may be available through Federal and State programs-EMR-EPIC-Salary Range : $234,321 - $270,325. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcares good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement.
