Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time staff physiatrist to join our team at our 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients admitted to our rehabilitation hospital
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improvement
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. A medical degree, completion of a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program, and current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Arkansas are also required.
