**Position Details**
Direct Patient Care: Perform diagnostic admission evaluations, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy, as appropriate.
Team Leadership: Act as a clinical team leader for coordinating and supervising care provided by the multidisciplinary team. Guide and provide leadership to other clinicians in formulating and implementing treatment plans.
Documentation: Complete timely assessments, clinical interventions, and discharge summaries as specified in medical staff regulations.
Risk Management: Monitor risk indicators, take action to address safety concerns, and safeguard the hospital from adverse events.
Prescribing Practices: Adhere to safe, evidence-based prescribing practices, ensuring informed consent is obtained prior to prescribing medication.
Collaboration: Act as a liaison with outside providers, primary care physicians, schools, and family members as needed.
Supervision: Provide supervision to non-physician health professionals and engage in medical staff committees and meetings.
