Nocturnist Medicine Admitting Physician - Saginaw, MI
About the Job :
- Hospital Medicine Admitting Physician
- Two (2) shifts available : 5pm-5am or 8pm-8am
- Flexible scheduling with a requirement of fifteen (15) twelve (12) hour shifts per month
- Huge need for expanded GYN / ONC services in the area
- Assess patients admitted to the hospital overnight through the emergency department
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Manage medications
- Provide patient education
- Work closely with the day team to ensure a smooth transition of care
- Attend rounds and conferences
- Complete all required documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain licensure and board certification
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work nights and weekends
