What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Supervisor (Adult Partial Care) position at Archway Programs?
Specific duties and responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate day to day program adult ACT Partial Care Program activities. Works with counselors to ensure that the groups are based on required specifications as outlined by the State of New Jersey.
- Work with Program Director to develop budget and financial management of the program elements. Participates in supervision of counselors and monitors the training/professional growth of volunteer team members, i.e. students/interns.
- Provides clinical direction and monitors the training/professional growth of staff, students/interns/volunteers.
- Coordinates all treatment team meetings
- Under the direction of the Program Director, Supervisor is responsible for the recruitment, screening, hiring, orientation, training and retention of program staff
- Provides crisis intervention and follow-up treatment as necessary and occasionally may be on call 24/7
- Reviews all case documentation and statistical reporting requirements on an accurate and timely basis
- Maintains established division policies & procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards
- Ensures confidentiality of consumer information from both outside persons and Archway Programs employees who do not require this information to perform their job functions.
- Provide culturally sensitive services that are based on knowledge of clinical cultural diversity to accomplish quality client care
- Exhibit quality customer services skills to consumers and their family members. All responses should be timely, professional, caring, and respectful in accordance with Archway Program standards Customer Service equals respect, flexibility, knowledge, confidence, professionalism, pleasant attitude, patience and helpfulness
- Performs other duties as may be deemed appropriate by the Program Director
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-3 years experience
- Knowledge of behavioral and /or psychodynamic approaches to treatment and intake assessments
- Working knowledge of modalities utilized in groups along with good oral and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to keep essential records and observe, identify individuals unusual behavior and record or communicate these observations
