Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technician
PayRate : $68-$72 / Holiday : $103-$107
Location : Morristown, NJ
Schedule : Days; 13 Weeks; 40 / hr. (08
Job Duties :
- Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist
- Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
- The ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
- The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist
- The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Strong communication skills using closed loop communication
- The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load
- Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons
- Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra / PACs system
- Groin management post intervention
- Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment
- BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures
- Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state ( defined in above JD.)
- This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities
Covid Requirements :
The primary vaccine series plus at least one booster ORThe Bivalent COVID vaccine that was first offered in September 2023 OR The 2023-2024 Monovalent COVID vaccine
Skills :
3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
Required Education :
High School Diploma / GED.
Associate degree. OR Completion of accredited radiographic program.
