ArchWell Health is seeking a Full-Time Cardiologist to join its established and innovative outpatient center dedicated to Seniors in Phoenix, Arizona.
Job Highlights :
- Clinic Hours Monday-Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm
- No Call or Inpatient component
- Provides excellent cardiovascular care in an outpatient setting
- Management of chronic cardiovascular diseases including ordering appropriate imaging or lab tests and recommending treatment plans as indicated by patient’s clinical needs
- Perform accurate interpretation of lab tests, EKG, and echocardiograms
- Participates in population management of market’s members
- Assists with implementation of cost reduction strategies
- Consults with and coaches primary care providers about management of cardiovascular disease and best practices
- Reviews primary care requests for external cardiology referrals and participates in authorization with emphasis on high quality internal care providers when appropriate
- Coordination with Cardiologists and Clinical Leadership regarding managing day-to-day operations and participates in meetings for risk and quality management as well as improving clinical quality, efficiency, and patient and physician satisfaction
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives within cardiovascular department
