Analyst, Public Relations
Job Summary:
ArchWell Health is seeking a Public Relations Analyst to support our high-growth business. This role will be a key contributor to maintaining ArchWell Health’s positive brand image, engaging customers through media stories and launching ArchWell Health’s centers across various markets. The ideal candidate will be eager to develop relationships with media and community stakeholders in multiple markets, craft and pitch stories and thrive in a rapidly growing business environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive brand image in 7 unique media markets across the US.
- Plan and execute PR campaigns for events and public health initiatives
- Develop story ideas and proactively pitch media
- Establish relationships with key reporters across multiple markets and mediums
- Facilitate in-person interviews at events or media outlets
- Monitor industry relevant news trends to understand the best way to continue to position the platform of the company
- Draft press releases, media alerts and editorial features
- Respond to media requests
- Identity and coach company spokespeople
- Create messaging and talking points for interviewees
- Track and organize earned media
- Collaborate and work with the full marketing and communications team on department initiatives
- Follow the editorial calendar and plan media accordingly
- Additional responsibilities to support the team as needs arise
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience maintaining media relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Project management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities from internal stakeholders
- Prior experience with a platform like Muck Rack or Cision
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide, up to 15%
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required, preferably with a major in journalism, public relations, communications, marketing or related field
- Minimum of four (4) years of professional PR or communications experience, preferably at a healthcare organization or agency
