Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

SUMMARY
Responsible for restocking, selling, monitoring product stock, and assisting customers in the golf shop.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs department opening and closing procedures including tournament prep. Generates revenue by maximizing sales opportunities. Responds to daily E-mail and voice mail. Ships guest purchases. Merchandises retail products. Tags and stocks retail merchandise. Assist in monthly inventory counting. Keeps all areas of the retail area clean and well-stocked. Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations. Performs special projects delegated by management. Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location.

EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in retail or golf preferred. Previous experience with computer technology including point of sale systems and customer service.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Scheduled shifts require attending the golf shop, stocking/restocking inventory, preparing for current golf tournaments, and assisting every customer. Opening shifts will start as early as 5:00 AM and closing shifts often require staff until 9:00 PM.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle merchandise. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

COMPENSATION
Part Time - $18 hourly commission from golf shop sales.
- Part - time months range from March - November
