Arclin USA is currently seeking talent for a Network Engineer II job for our Alpharetta, GA location. Reporting into the IT Infrastructure Manager, this role will align with and support the business on a corporate level by providing reliable, responsive, and proactive technology support based on Arclin IT standards.
Network Engineer II Job Responsibilities:
- Frequently interacts with other IT department members on server system hardware and software projects
- Researches, implements, and educates peers on new technologies
- Ownership of network infrastructure; design, build, administer, maintain, and monitor network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN). This includes; switches, routers, firewalls, vpn, sd-wan devices, telecommunications and internet services, wireless and phones
- Maintain, create documentation and layout drawings
- Contribute with administration and maintenance of the enterprise virtualization environment
- Contribute with maintenance, monitoring, and administration of the server infrastructure services such as Active Directory, Exchange, Sharepoint, SQL server
- Contribute with maintenance and monitoring of backup and storage infrastructure
- Lead in the planning, design and implementation of new network infrastructure solutions and other projects relating to the data center or communications
- Respond to and resolve 2nd and 3rd level support incidents and problems
- Provide technical support for all production systems in company’s data centers
- Provide backup and escalation support for all infrastructure issues
- Provide after hours on call support
Network Engineer II Job Qualifications:
- 5 years of Network Infrastructure administration experience in a 24x7 environment
- 3 years design, installation, configuration, and supporting Cisco routers, switches, and Palo Alto devices.
- In depth knowledge of communication and routing protocols.
- Experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco routers, switches, UCS and Cisco wireless controllers.
- Knowledge of Windows Server OS, Linux, SQL Server, Active Directory, and PowerShell
- Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery techniques
