Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization’s quality strategy, aligning with business goals and client requirements.
- Establish QMS roadmaps, budgets, and performance metrics to monitor effectiveness.
- Lead quality-related transformation initiatives, including process optimization and technology integration.
- Develop, implement, and track execution of SQS (Supplier Qualtiy Surveillance Plan)
- Ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations (e.g., ISO, OSHA, ANSI).
- Oversee internal and external audits, including after action reports, certifications, corrective actions, and supplier evaluations.
- Interface with regulatory agencies and clients during inspections.
- Monitor construction and engineering processes to identify quality risks and implement preventive measures.
- Review project plans, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Analyze quality data to drive decision-making and report findings to senior management.
- Lead and mentor quality assurance/control teams, fostering professional growth and accountability.
- Develop training programs on QMS policies, tools (e.g., Lean, Kaizen, agile systems), and industry best practices.
- Partner with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve outcomes.
- Manage client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring contractual quality obligations are met.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
- Experience: 10 years in quality management within engineering/construction, including 5 years in leadership roles.
- Certifications: Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Six Sigma Black Belt, or ISO Lead Auditor preferred.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in QMS software, statistical analysis, and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.).
- Leadership: Proven ability to inspire teams and drive organizational change.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to address complex quality challenges.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders and presenting to executives.
- Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying and mitigating project risks.
