Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cook & Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cooking hot food/bakery, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a safe and pleasant atmosphere for clients and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to cooking and cleaning tasks and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly.
- Follow health regulations while cooking hot food/baking.
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards encountered during cleaning tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
