A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Responsible for managing multiple communications projects simultaneously
- Project responsibilities include: system design, equipment selection and procurement, management of vendors and install partners, and commissioning.
- Project types include: Life Safety DAS Systems, Cellular DAS Systems, and other communications and low voltage work.
- Communicate with AHJs to determine project specific parameters (frequencies, installation requirements, testing parameters, etc.)
- Lead proposal meetings and buyout process for the selection of subcontractors and validate scope of work
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of multiple vendors to ensure that projects are completed within prescribed time and financial parameters
- Manages project level financials based on project milestones to ensure proper revenue
- Complete ownership of project budget and financial performance.
- Manages subcontractor invoices and approval for work complete
- Provides weekly project status updates to necessary parties
- Work with OEMs/Distributors to create, purchase, and deliver Bill of Materials for individual projects
- Assist in equipment procurement and coordination of material deliveries to project locations
- 25% - 50% travel for projects
- 5% -10% travel for conferences and trainings
- 1-5 years of experience in designing or constructing DAS/Wireless Telecommunication Systems or equivalent
- BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proficiency using Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with RF Engineering, iBwave Software, PCTEL Equipment, and OEM certifications are a plus.
