AME Engineering is currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for helping develop the structural system design in support of design / build projects including Industrial, Self-storage, Controlled Environments, Entertainment, Multi-Family, and other types of facilities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Design and specify structural systems including load calculations, gravity and lateral system analysis, structural details, and connections for various projects
- Assist our multi-disciplined engineering team to deliver projects
- Join projects with other engineering and modeling staff to deliver comprehensive structural design packages
- Assist in the development of industry-leading automated design methods and tools as part of a forward-thinking, innovation-focused team of engineers and R&D staff
- Work with our fabrication modeling team to facilitate successful project execution
- Provide value engineering reviews and alternate design options to maximize cost savings, optimize lead times, and better execute projects
- Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting / exceeding customer requirements and expectations
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0
