GENERAL FUNCTION:
Job Coach –
- Produce assessments (Profile) of men and women with developmental disabilities participating in our program and seeking jobss so that a proper job match may be made.
- Support and instruct men and women with developmental disabilities at their customized work site.
- Develop natural supports which instruct, supervise and assist men and women with developmental disabilities at the supportive employment job site including working with coworkers as well as managers.
- This person will work 35-40 hours per week according to the flexible schedule needed for such employment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent reading, writing, and verbal skills
- Work experience in this or a related field
- Valid Louisiana license
- Dependable transportation available on the job

- Process information under a variety of conditions
- Work with persons with developmental disabilities and family dynamics and respond appropriately

- Assess skills/abilities/preferences of the participant
- Model behavior and interactions appropriate to community standards
