Summary

Arconic seeks an EHS Manager to join the Aluminum Extrusion (AEX) business unit in Lafayette, IN.

Responsibilities

• Implement Company EHS management systems and processes.
• Maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain a culture aligned with Company EHS goals and objectives.
• Reduce plant incidents by improving frequency and severity.
• Lead the development of an EHS strategy for Lafayette to ensure continuous improvement and sustainability.
• Drive EHS culture change at Lafayette.
• Create systems and processes that drive a proactive safety culture.
• Develop professional working relationships with union leadership and joint works committee.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate EHS compliance activities through functional teams.
• Develop and implement plant specific policies, procedures, and programs to achieve and maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Coordinate within the EHS Department the preparation and submission of requests for environmental permits.
• Develop and maintain records necessary to comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in maintaining environmental and health/safety records.
• Identify and develop good working relationships with state and local authorities.
• Maintain working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of managerial experience in a multidiscipline EHS environment.
• Experience working within a Union environment.
• Experience in developing and implementing EHS programs.
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency.
