What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Assembler Lead (2nd shift +$1.50 Night Shift Premium) position at Arcosa Brand?
Arcosa Wind Towers is looking for a Lead Assembler to join our 2nd shift Assembly team at our Tulsa, OK facility. As a lead assembler, you will lead the assembly team in the sub-assembly, assembly of sections and final assembly of sections. You will apply knowledge to train team members to help further their knowledge and skill.
What you'll do:
- Lead an assembly team in all aspects of Assembly
- Assist in the completion of all tasks to meet deadlines
- Inspect work
- Operate automated equipment or hand tools
- Train assembly employees in assembly functions
- Support a positive working culture
- Be involved in safety committees or initiatives
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Read, write and speak proficiently in English

Working Conditions:
- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds
- This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
- Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
- Hourly position, 4:30PM - 3:00AM (subject to change based on business needs), mandatory OT often required
