What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Arcosa Brand?
What you’ll do:
- Operates equipment on commercial demolition jobsites to assist in removal of the structure(s) according to the project plans
- Performs routine service on equipment to ensure proper and safe operation
- Performs various duties to maintain safe, organized and functional plant environment
- Washes Equipment
- Assists in Heavy Maintenance tasks
- Assists in Yard Maintenance tasks
- Inspects materials in yard and reports any issues or problems to supervisor
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
What You'll Need:
- 3 years experience operating heavy/mobile equipment, required
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time at conveyor belt operation
- Ability to climb heights of 75 feet on a regular basis
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or pull 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work in dusty, loud noise environment
- Required to wear safety equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, steel toed boots, ear plugs, respirator, gloves and various other similar items as required
