Ameron™, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arcosa, Inc., is searching for a Machine Operator to join our team in Tulsa, OK. The Machine Operator you will set up and operate machines, work with various heavy machinery, power hand tools and may use blueprints, make adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements and transfer materials to storage areas.

What You’ll Do:
- Work with various heavy machinery, power hand tools and equipment
- Form and/or cut materials into predesignated shapes and sizes, working with sheet metal, various structural materials, forming, drilling, seaming
- Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely
- Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments, following all OSHA pre-checks and inspections
- Make general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- Other job duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in operating/welding fabrication shop, metals shop, using heavy power tools to cut press, drill, basic welding, fabrication, light industrial, industrial, CNC, melt shop, machining, overhead cranes, driving/operating medium to heavy equipment
- Ability to proficiently read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements
- Ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendance
- Ability to stand throughout the day, climb on/off equipment and lift materials in excess of 50 pounds regularly
